SUICIDES OF LOSERS. Per Press Association. —Copyright New York, November 23. Lieut. Crawford, Admiral Dewey’s secretary, committed suicide in the Potamac river owing to losses during the banking crisis. A woman named Smith, who similarly lost £400,000, shot her husband and herself. She first set fire to tho house, after saturating the rooms with kerosene. Both husband and. wife are dead.
