While no large orders : arc coming,in a steady coastal business is being done at full prices and holders remain firm in their ideas. We quote as followsA grade bparrowbills and Gartons 4s 2d, B grade 4s to 4s Id, C grade 4s. Milling Wheat: There is not much business going through. Stocks are very light and holders dout show any signs of reducing quotations. Wo quote 6s 3d, f.0.b., sacks extra for mixed parcels. Fowl wheat: very scarce. Nominal quotation 5s iua to 6s, f.o.b.s.i. Barley: Nothing offering. Feed quality nominal, 4s 6d, f.o.b’s.i. Peas: Partridge and White Ivory are still selling at 4s lOd to os, sacks extra. Cocksfoot. This is still meeting with a ready sale. Small lots are now going on to Australia at high prices. We quote 171 b seed 7%d to Bd, lolb to 7>£d 141 b 7d to 7J£d. Undressed seed <)>*d to 6%d. Rough seed 4)£d to OJ, all f.0.b., sacks extra. WOOL SALES. A DROP OF TWOPENCE. Per Press Assoication. Christchurch, November 31. The first wool sales of the season took place to-day; 5500 bales were offered, 3000 loss than last year. The sale was disappointing, and prices fell about 2d all round, the buyers’ limit being about lo}£d to lid on the best. The range of prices was:—Merino medium 9>£d to 10%d, half-bred super lid tol 3d, medium 9d to lOj/jd, inferior 7%d to fß?£d, three-quarter bred super 9>£d to 10%d, medium B*4d to 9d, inferior 7d to Bd, crossberd "super 9d to 10%d, medium 7jod to Down wool super lOd to 12%d, medium to 9%d. Half the wool offered was passed. FROZEN MEAT. Napier, November 20. The C. O. and D. Company cable that frozen meat prices are uuchanged. '
