Per Press Association. Balclutha, Nov. 20. At the Otago Methodist Synod, the general returns presented showed satisfactory increases. The report of tho Conference of tho Sunday School Committee was discussed, and a number of recommendations wore made, including one that the Bible Class movement organising agent’s duties should also cover that of Helper of Sunday School, The Rev. D. J. Murray was elected representative to tho ConEoren.ee. A resolution in favour of a separate conference for New Zealandgwasgcarried. The next Synod is to be held in Dunedin.
