Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on thoir Joimsonville sale as follows: There was a full entry of bullocks, mostly prime quality, but not heavy. The bidding was slow throughout and beef was fully 2s per ewt lower than last sale. Beef made up to 235, best bullocks £9 5s to £0 12s fid : others, £S 10s to £!) 2s fid ; light. £7 10s to £3 os. A poor yarding of sheep, including few shorn sheep, sold at last week's rate; shorn owes 15s lOd, shorn wethers, lfis Od to 17s fid; woolly ewes, 255; light wethers, 21s to 255; lambs, plain, 10s Gd to lis. A good yarding of porkers and baeoners sold up to 43s 4d; bacoucrs, 83s 4d. LAND SALES. Mcsrss Brophy and Mowlem, estate aaonts, Palmerston North, report the following sales during the last quarter:—4ooo acres, Taranaki district, to Wellington gentleman at £G per acre; 365 acres, Mauawatu Line, at £3O per aero, to Dugald Thomson, Esq. ; 700 acres, Waikanae, Mauawatu Line, at vendor's price to H.
