Notice ia hereby given that at Special Meetings of the Rangitikei County Council held- at Marton on Saturday, 2nd November, 1907, resolutions were passed making and levying Special Rates for the payment of interest and other charges on loans authorised to be raised by the said Council under the provisions of “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” as follows : 1. A Special Rate ot three-eighths of a penny in the £ sterling upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Ongo Special Rating District in respect of loan ot £2500 for metalling about 4i miles ot the Ongo Road, 2. A Special Rato of throe six- j tccnths of a penny in the £ sterling upon the ra;cable valuation of ail rateable property of the Turakina Valley Special Rating District in respect of a loan of £6OO for metalling portions of the Makohau-Tura-kina Valley and Taurimu roads. 3. A Spcc'al Rato of three-fifths of a penny in the £ sterling upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Eangitano Special Rating* District in respect of loan of £250 for the Eangitane Rond. Each of the above is for a period of 41 years, and the interest to be paid at the rate of four per cent, per annum.

It is hereby further notified that copies of the above-mentioned resolutions are open to public inspection at the office of the Council, High Street, Ma’’ton, during office hours, and that Special Meetings of the said Council will be held on TUESDAY, Srd December, 1907, at 1.30 p.m., to confirm such resolutions as Special Orders.
