THE COAL MINING DISPUTE.
• Per Press Association.—Copyright. Sydney, November 11, Tho Stockton, New Lambton, Waratah, and Shortland Miners' Lodges adopted the strike ultimatum. Mr Wade, Premier of New South Wales, has suggested to both sides in tho coal trouble that matters in dispute should be submitted to an independent tribunal, and that they should bo bound by its decision; that in tho meantime tho minors withdraw their notification to cease work on Thursday; that mines recently closed be re-opened and worked until the dispute is settled, on conditions existing before the dispute arose. Mr Wade, who was concerned as Counsel or Commissioner in former big coal disputes, is sanguine that peaceful methods will prevail. His suggestions are likely to be considered by both parties to-morrow. Received November 12, 9.41 a.m. Sydney, November 12. As a result of Mr Wade's efforts the coal miners have agreed to continue work for three days, tho proprietors having consented to an early conference to discuss the trouble
