Press Association—Copyright. London, November 10. Sir R. Solomon, ou behalf of the Transvaal, presented the Cullinan diamond to the King at Sandringham. London, November 11. King Edward directed Lord Elgin, Secretary of State for the Colonies, to cable to the Transvaal Ministry that he accepted the Cullinan diamond as a token of the loyalty and attachment of the peoplo of the Transvaal to his throne and person, and would preserve the unique jewel among the Crown heirlooms. He was much pleased with the Ministry's cordial congratulations accompanying the gift. . [Tho diamond was foun.l m 1900 near Pretoria. Named after the chairman of tho company, it is the largest known diamond. Its weight (uncut) was 3025% carats and its value is incomputable. ]
