Ellerslie Training Notes-
Per Press Association. Auckland, November 7. The weather was flue for training operations at Ellerslie this morning. The outside course p.-oper, sand and tan were all open and very fast. Cadence ran six furlongs in liniu 23 sec. Carl Rosa easily held Waipuna at the cud of seven furlongs in 1.34 3mth sec. Necktie did six furlongs in 1.18, a good gallop; the filly has more than an outside chance in the Guineas. Dowiifall made a hack of Dan Leuo and Haldanj over a mile run in 1.43. Lady Dot assisted him over the fir t three furlongs. The Guineas candidate is very well. All the above worked on the course proper. Cambrian and Poliutu ran six furlongs on the tan in 1.20, neither ridden out. Ohautouse and Veronica were together at the end of four furlongs on the course proper .in 51 1-5 see. Loftns alone did five furlongs on the sand in 1.4. Fortlight occasioned a lot of surprise by cover iug seven furlongs on the course proper in 1.3-3, badly heating Lady Regei and Tauewhai. The gallop was the best of the season. Uhlauder boat' Lucrcco over six furlongs on the tan in 1.31. After breakfast Waimangu beat Santa Rosa over half a mile on the course proper in 53. Roosevelt did five, furlongs in 1.8. Baltimore went a mile in 1.53. Epsom Lass ran six furlongs in 1.22. Rnaparaha easily held Lnros and Lochhiuc at the end of six furlongs in 1.20. Taimanupu ran four furlongs in 50 l-sfch. General Soult, Sediti on and Gleuvar finished in that order at the end of four furlongs in 51. A largo number of others worked.
