The heaviest , was on the Western slopes and table- i lands; falls ranging up to three and ! a half inches. Hunter \ alley, over; two inches South Coast, over one inch. The drought is broken though moro rain is is wanted to thoroughly soak tho ground. v . Melbourne, November 4. The rain has greatly improved the crop and dairy prospects.
