After two further conferences with the directors of the British Hallway Companies Mr Lloyd George has invited the men’s repres'efitative t$ meet him on Wednesday next in case he may have any proposal to submit. Meanwhile an advisory committee consisting of the executive of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants has unanimously resolved that the director’s’ refusal to meet the Association’s representatives leaves no alternative but to enforce the mandate resulting from a ballot which recommended the issue of notice papers to the whole of the railway service. Mr Bell, the Society’s secretary, declares that everyone will be called out.
