INDIAN SEDITION.

The Legislative Council by 9 votes to 3 adopted the Prevention of Seditious Meetings Bill. Lord Minto, Governor-General of India, in a firm speech remarked that while repressing sedition the Government had no wish to, check tho growth of political thought.
