In the Ayrshire class Messrs Slack Bros, got six firsts, including a champion bull, Waitoitoi Laird, four seconds and a third, out of twelve entries. A feature of those particularly fine beasts was tire way in which they were prepared for the show ring. Nothing pleases the public more than to see a beast iu the best possible shape and condition and polished up to the last rub till tho sleek skin glistens iu the sunshine.
