SPECIAL LOAN OF ,I*lsoo la the matter of “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1 900.” and of ** The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” and the Ads amending tho" same respeclively: - , , 1 Tho Council of tho Boronga or; Marton hereby gives public notice that such Council proposes to raise , a Special Loan of £ISOO, under tho provisions of “ Tho Local Bodies . , Leans Act, 1901,” and amendments, 1 for the purpose of forming, kerning, channelling, culverting and gravel-j ling in the streets known as Broad- ■ way, "Wellington Road, and High Street; also reconstructing and as-1 phalting the footpaths in the said ■ streets, and to make an annual re- | curring Special Rato of one penny ; and threoe farthings m the £ , sterling upon the rateable value (annual value) of all rateable proporty in the said Borough of Marton as security for the interest and Sinking Fund (Sinking Fund to boat the rate of 1 per centum per annum) * in connection with such loan. The whole of tho loan is to bo re- | payable at the expiration of 15 yom s i from the raising of the loan. It is proposed to pay out of tho loan moneys tho cost of raising the loan, but not the first year’s interest on the loan during tho construction of the said works. Dated the 17th October, 1907. In the matter of “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and of “ The Local Bodies Loans i Act, 1901,” and the Acts amending the same respectively : The Council of tho Borough of Marton hereby give public notice that such Council proposes to raise a Special Loan r "■ 1000 (the loan to bo lor two sue- y- ■’ ’expendief hire) under ’■ "• of “The Local Bodii001,” and amendments, 1;.. purpose of forming, kerbing, ci-annelling, culv erting and gravelling on the following streets in the Borough of Marton, viz.— Bond, Follelt, Signall, Grey, William, Bowen, Queen, Oxford, Ma under, Hair, Stewart, Bell, Robert, Blackwell, Morris, Cubbabbala, Harris, Ross, Lambert, Beaven, Russell, and Willis Streets, also Pukepapa Road And to make an annual recurring Special Rato of threepence halfpenny (Old) in the £ sterling upon tho rateable value (annual value) of all rateable property in tho said Borough of Marton I as security for the interest and ocher ■charges in connection with such loan, and that such loan be for a period of 41 years, and tho interest to be laid at the rate of 4 per cent per annum.
