At a meeting of Napier booksellers it was decided to enter a protest against the recent Customs Commissioner’s decision io regard to " Weldon’s Ladies Journal,” and imposing a duty of 3d per lb as advertising matter, u.0.e., feeling that same establishes a precedent which may have a most injurious effect upon current periodical matter generally.
