I] At the Addington live stock marl ket today, iu consequence of there being no” sale next Wednesday, there I was a double market. The entries I were much larger than usual, aud i the attendance of buyers was very j good. The increased entry was j particularly noticeable in fat stock, t Fat Cattle.—Extra prime steers j brought from £l2 to £l4 ss, others from £6 10s to £ll 10s, heifers from jj £6 7s Cd to £ll 15s. cows from £4 j 17s 6d to £ll ss. The host steer beef i made from 28s to 32s per 1001 b, aud j medium brought from 23s to 375. J Store Cattle.—Yearlings brought j 15s, 15 to 18-mouths 33s to 395, 2I year-old heifers £3 os. 3-yoar-old I steers £4, dry cows 15s to £l2 s 3 Cd i dairy cows £3 7s 6d to £7 ss. I Fat Sheep.—Tlie prices were i Wethers 35s to 295, others 21s 24s (id, shorn wethers 10s 9d to 23s (id, shorn ewes 15s 9d to 22s 3d, prime merino wethers 18s to 23s lOd, shorn merinos j to 15s. Fat Lambs. —Was considerably in excess of previous sales, wore from | 18s 9d to 20s for ordinary aud as high } as 23s for extra prime. ( Store Sheep.—The sales made were:—l3s ewes and lambs 9s Id (all counted), 60 do. at 8s 3d, 281 , shorn wethers at 10s Bd, 73 shorn I hoggets at 11s 4d, 01 woolly hoggets at 18s 3d, 48 do. at 10s, and 120 do. | at 18s lOd. I Pigs.—Choppers made from £4 to £5 10s, baconers to £4 (equal to o%d to 6d per lb). Porkers sold readily well, prices ranging from 10s to 40s | for large aud 30s to 3Ss for lighter t (equal to (id per lb.) There was a I good entry of stores, aud the deI mand was keen. Largo stores made | from 35s to B9s, ami smaller and I medium from 35s to | prices were forthcoming for weaners, I buyers giving from 17s.
