N.Z. RUGBY UNION.

(Per Press Association). Wellixgtox, October 24. The Management Committee of N.Z. Rugby Union to-night decided to inform affiliated unions that it is not illegal to pay referees for loss of time, but referees receiving payment will thereafter be debarred from playing football. The Commitiee refused a request by a player disqualified for life by the Taranaki Union, that the matter should be reconsidered.
