fcr Press Association Wklt.inoiton, October 25. A poculinv position occurred at tho sitting of tho Conciliation Board today, with reference to the drivers' dispute. Tho employers did not appear and flie chairman gavo what he termed a judgment by default so that tho claims of the Union become tho recommendation of tho Conciliation Board. The chairman deprecated the action of the employers and said their object presumably had been to discredit the Board, and also to avoid the necessity of opening their ease before <h> Arbitration Court this ufteruoo!'.
