Stock Report. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency 00., Ltd., report:— At Feildiug on Friday in consequence of the particularly rough weather prevailing there was only a small yarding of sheep and cattle. All lilies were quitted at satisfactory prices. Quotations ; Sheep: Hoggets 15s 2d , fat and forward ewes 18s Bd, fat and forward wethers 21s 9d. Cattle, 2 and 2% -year steers £4 4s, yearling steers £2 Bs, store cows £2 Is 6d. ■•Messrs J. H. Nixon and 00. report At our Wanganui sale on Wednesday we had a good entry of both sheep anud cattle. Bidding was brisk throughout, and we succeeded in quitting practically all the sheep and the bulk of the cattle under the hammer. Sheep: Fat wethers 25s 6d, f.m. owes and lambs 13s 4d to 14s 6d, 2 tooth to f.m. ewes and lambs 255, mixed hoggets 14s 7 d to IGs Id, Romney rams 8s to 83s, a line of 70 Lincoln rams realised 14s 3d. Cattle: Fat cows £6, fat bullocks £9 13s 6d, forward cows £3 17s to £4, forward bullocks £G, yearling heifers 80s, yearling steers £3 12s 6d, springing heifers, poor, £1 19s, others £3 8s to £3 13s, empty cows £3 2s to £3 11s, poor cows'aud calves £1 10s to £2 12s Gd. Pigs; Porkers, good, £1 18s to £3 7s Gd, others 80s to 85s, good stores 18s Gd to 19s Gd, others 14s to 15s. Grain and Seed. Mesrss Kaye and Carter, Ltd. re-1 port as follows: —Wheat, Milling j Tuscan 4s lOd to 4sjlld, pearl 4s lid | to os, Hunters 4s 10d to 4s lid, fowl i wheat 4s 8d to 4s 9d, f. o. b. Lyttelton, sacks extra. Milling wheat: The market has taken a decided turn upwards and rules verv strong at the ! advance. Fowl wheat is very scarce j and in great demand. Oats : —A i Garton 3s 3d to 8s 4i, B Garton 3s : 2%d to 8s 3d, Sparrowbills 8s 3)£d to 3s 3d, Danish 3s 2d to 3s 3>£d, Duns; 8s 3d to 8s sd, f.o b , Lyttelton, sacks included.
