Notice is hereby given that at special meetings of the Eangitikei County Council hold at Matton on Saturday, sth October, 1907, resolutions were pass'-d making and levying Special Eatcs for the payment of interest and other charges on loans author! ed to be raised by the said Council under the provisions o*i “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, .1901,” as follows: ■— (1.) A special rate of one penny and eleven fortieths of a penny (1 11-40 d) in the £ sterling upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Fukeokabu Special Eating District in respect of loan of £5,500 for trimming and installing on the Pukeokahu and Mangaboata roads,.about 10 miles. A Special Rate o£ one-fortieth, of a penny (1-403) in the £ sterling upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Mangawoka No. 2 Special Eating District in'respect of an additional.ioan of £SO. being tea per centum of the original loan of £SOO raised for construction of footpaths and drainage works in the town of Mangawoka. 1 Each of the above loans is for a period of 41 years, and the interest to bo paid at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum. . . ... !
