The over Increasing demand for laud has never been so strongly emphasised in the history "f Now Zealand as at the present time and apart from {the demand for broad acres it seems to be the ambition of every New Zealander at least to' own his own homo. This fact, no doubt, accounts for the thrift, prosperity and self-satisflod air displayed _ by residents’ throughout the Dominion. In onr own district the same feeling has been very pronounced of late. To satisfy the above craving an enterprising syndicate purchased the well-known Henderson estate, and on’cutting the same up were besieged with inquiries for sections, even before the Lithograph plans could be prepared. Those have now beeu completed and buyers are much in evidence. From its natural position and general surroundings the property was about the most suitable that could bo procured in the district for residential purposes. Bunshine from morning to night and a beautiful view to ho obtained from the whole of the higher|aections. Anyone visiting the sections will be convinced they cannot be equalled for size and beautiful surroundings. The. prices range from £3o’ upwards and the terms reasonable. The cutting up of this estate, will do much to snpplv a long felt want as well as giving a further impetus to the whole of the district, connecting as it will do the Marton township with the station.
