Press Association. Wellington. October 4. In the Legislative Council, which met at 2.30, the Mines Committee reported upon the Coal Mines Act Amendment Bill and recommended that it proceed without amendment. The Bills of Exchange Act Amendment Bill and the Judiciary Act, 1907, were re id a first time. The Council rose at 2.46.
