BULLS SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

The adjourned meeting of above was held on Friday at 7.30 p.m. Present -—Messrs Downes (chair), Hinckley, King, McGregor, and Wearne (see. I Correspondence was read re conveyance of children to public schools. Moved by Chairman, seconded by Mr King, “That the committee desire to convey to Mr J. H. Gray, Head Teacher, and his assistants, their hearty congratulations on the successful result of last year’s operations, lad the favourable report thereon received from the Inspector." The Chairman reported that Dominion Day had been duly observed, considering the state of the weather, and that as the nest week was the customary holiday, the Friday had been added on account of prevalence of sickness.

The head master’s report was read. Average roll 130, average attendance 113. Sickness accounting for low Sundry accounts were passed for payment. The visiting committee, Messrs McGregor and King, apologised for not making a report and were reappointed. Technical Committee. The Chairman reported receving letters from A. E. Remington, M.H.E. and from John Stevens, M.H.E. offering full support and advocacy to the establishing of the High School in Bulls—ln addition Mr John Btevens forwarded an unsolicted donation of £lO 10s.

Moved by Mr King, seconded by Mr W. Kearney that a letter of thanks be sent to Mr Stevens for his donation of £lO 10s and his promised assistance.

Proposed by Mr J. King, seconded by Mr C Hinckley that in the matter of the District High School Fund at the Bank of New South Wales, Bulls —Mr T. W. Downes, chairman and Mr W. Homes, members of committee be empowered to operate on the account.

Mr King moved and Mr McGregor seconded, that a vote of thanks from the Committee be accorded to Mr J. G. Wilson and to the Chairman for assistance in taking classes in the Agricultural class. The Director of Technical classes reported very favorably—especialy on on the Dressmaking Class—The millinery class proving a success.

■ A hearty vote of thanks ta Mr J. H. Gray for his successful work in connection with technical classes [was recorded.
