The Daily Telegraph’s Rabat correspondent states that it is reported that Great Britain has informed the Sultan that she fears captivity will be dangerous owing to Kaid MacLean’s advanced age and therefore demands his release. It is reported that Rcisuli clains a ransom of -100,000 dollars, also the governorship of Tangier for himself and the governorship of another port for an adherent.
