Melbourne, October 4.

A goods train consisting of 20 trucks, an engine and a guard’s van left the rails near Kihnore and the whole train, with the exception-of the guard’s van, rolled down a steep embankment.

The driver, named Duke, was killed instantly and Cherry, the fireman, died a couple of hours later.
