A meeting of tho Aotea District Maori Land Board was held at Wei* lington commencing on Friday last; Tho Under-Secretary of tho Nativo Department, Judge T. W. Fisher; presided, with Mr H. Lmidius arid Ta.karangi Mote Kingi. The following business was done : —Applications for consent to lease — Ngarara West B, part [subdivision 5, for Malcolm.McLean.— Granted. Lower Aoraugi, 3 G., No. 1. sub. laud 2 A; Lowor Aoraugi, 3 G., No. 1, sub. 2b, to James Bruco Bealo. —Granted. Pukerua, 3 O I, To Charles Gray, Hntfc, section 19, subdivision 21 D, to James Dealey. Awarua, 1 A, No. 3 North, and Awarua, 1 A, No. 3 South, to H. R. Waldegrave and another. —Granted. Raetihi, 4 B, to J. W. Wakelin.— Not dealt with. Horowhenua, XI. B 30, Sec. 3, G. 1, to J. R. McDonald.—Granted. Applications for recommendation to remove restrictions for the purposes of sale— Ngarara West, A, sec, 53 A, and A. sec, 53 B to W. H. Field.— Granted. Wairere. No. 2, Karaitiana Rawiri Konata and others.—Not called. Kukutanaki, No. 1, toW. H. Field. —Granted.

The president reported that Raetihi Block 3 B, containing 1913 acres, and Raetihi Block, 4 B, containing 3257 acres, had been vested in the Board and duly gazetted. The Board adjourned to meet ill Wanganui.
