Adelaide, October 2. After further "conference) of the two Houses on the Franchise Bill the Premier announced that a tentative agreement had been reached. The Council undertook to support the amendments and to advocate the Bill at a referendum. Government had done the best it could and only accepted the .compromise in order that important business of the, country may be proceeded Svith.^^^
