The State Savings Bank depositors in the past year increased by 24,56(5, and the amount to credit of depositors by £1,029,000. The Federal Customs rovenue for the first quarter of the financial year was £3,023,000, an increase of £458,000 over last corresponding quarter. The increase is largely attributed to the new tariff, which has been in operation soven weeks. The railway rovenue for tho last year was £4,012,000, the largest ever earned. The percentage of working expenses to revenue was the lowest since 1878;
