Nelson, Octeber 1.

The steam trawler Nora Niven put in this evening and landed Mr A. F. Ayson, Chief Inspector of Fisheries, ior medical attention. Mi Ayson, who is in charge of the trawling operations, met with an accident somo weeks ago, from tho effects of which ho is still suffering. The trouble was aggravated by a fall on the deck of the vessel a day or two ago. He was attended by a doctor here, and later was ablo to continue his journey to Wellington in tho trawler. Captain McAllister reports that smca leaving Westport a week ago the trawler encountered heavy weather, but satisfactory hauls have been made.
