The body of Thomas Walker, who was drowned while going ashore from tho Enterprise dredge nt Alexandra on Thursday, was recovered to day, being dredged up in tho buckets of Manuhorikia dredge, Christchurch, September 30.
A telegram was received by Inspector Gillies this morning from tho constable at Little Liver to tho c-iceot that Claude Looney aged Ifi, and Lancelot Looney aged 21, had bean drowned in Lake Forsyth through the capsizing of a canoe in which they were sailing An inquest was held this morning concorning the death of Chas. Hodges, who was found in a dying condition in Derby-? street on Saturday afternoon and expired when being conveyed to the hospital, ihq jury returned a yovqiot .that death.
