' Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Kiwi tea County Council held on the 21st Soptember, 1907, a resolution was passed by way of Spacial Order, making and levying a Special Rate of 450fchs of a penny in the £ sterling on the rateable value of all rateable property of the Kiwi tea County for the payment of interest and other charges on a loan of £6OO, authorised to be raised by the said Council under " The Local Bodies Loans Act,! 1901," and amendments thereto, and by virtue of a warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor in terms of Section 118 of « The Public Works Act, 1906," for the purpose of providing this Council's share of the cost of construction i of a bridge over the Oroua River on 1 the Apiti Main South Road, known as the Marton Block Bridge. The loan is for a period of 41 years, and tho interest to bo paid at the rate of 4 per centum per annum. It is hereby further notified that a copy of tho proposed Special Order, embodying the resolutions passed at the said Bpooiftl Meeting for making and levying such Special Rate, is open for public inspection at the offico of iiho Council, Kimbolton, during offieo hours, and that a Special Meeting of tho said Kiwitea County Council will bo hold on SATURDAY, 19th October, 1907, to confirm tho said resolution.
