KIM BOLTON FLOWER SHOW.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) The annual spring flower show was held [in Poole's Hall on Tuesday sfternoon * and evening, and taking into consideration the very great number of people that were kept sway bv mcaslos and other forms of sickness, proved an unqualified success. The exhibits were well up to the usual sfandard. The following is the list of prize-winners:— CLASS A. Foliage Plants: Mrs Stackhousc 1. Flowering plants, (points' prize presented by Mr C. H. Date Creams : Mrs Haythorne 1. Walnut Creams: Mrs Haythorne 1. Collection Sweets: Mrs Haythorne
Marmalade '. Mrs Fowler. Table Decorations (special prize presented by Mr Capper) i Mrs Palmer 1. , Mrs B. O. Haggitt did the judging to tho satisfaction of everybody concerned. . , The needlework stall was presided over by Mrs Cassell and realised over £B. The sweet stall was managed by Mrs Baddeiey, and, had the supply equalled the demand, would have realised considerably more than the 50s in which the sales resulted. The tea and refreshments was admirably superintended by Mrs Rowles, assisted by' Miss Edney . and others. The concerts and guessing gallery wore also features in ths entertainment. The net proceeds, which will probably amount to nearly £1.5, go in reduction of the debt on the Church of England Vicarage. Mrs Harden presented a prize of 10s Gd for next season's show for" Narcissi of all varieties. Mrs B. C. Haggitt also donated a special for next year's show for Champion L'.:om.
