BETTING AT SPORTS MEETINGS.
Per Press Association. Auckland, September 27. Hon. Fowlds to-day received a deputation including the Rev. Wilkin Stoops, asking that legislation be introduced to stop betting at sportsfi meetings, with particular reference to proprietary sports now being conducted here. The Minister obtained information from tho deputation to pat before his colleagues.
