Lipton's challenge for the America Oup on the ground that any proposal to limit the size ot competing boats is a violation of the terms of the America Oup Trust, but it is prepared to accept a challenge on the old lines. gSir T. Liptonjjis extremely disap pointed, since he challenged under the universal rule which the American yachtsmon established undor which they, as experienced builders of a particular type of boat, would have a great advantage over inexperienced British builders.
