SIR.—I am writing to correct tftl article P wrote‘and which appear® in your issue of tho 1 Tth instant No doubt your correspondent and a number of your readers arc enjoying a laugh at my expense. Ro tho_ last subject debated upon at the Waitnni Literary and Debating : Society, viz 1 “Is Groat Britain beginning to De* dine?” Now the speakers for the affirmative were Messrs Goldsuurjj R.
