, Waxoanui. September 20. The following acceptances have been received for the first day of the ‘Wanganui Jockey Club’s Spring mooting : ° AVanganui Guineas, 1 mile.

A largo number of visiting horses have already arrived in view of the mooting, including Glenculloch, Gold Beater, Mauri, Muskorry, Waitapu, St. Claimer, Lass-o’-Govrrie and Eilortou.

The weather is fluo and the tracks are in good order. Gloucrj.Uoch galloped a mile, joined by Gold Beater over the last seven furlongs in Imiu ICsec. Lo Beau had Xavier as a companion over a round, the former, very well, shaped nicely. Mauri and Muskerry did a couple of rounds together at half pace. Fisherman! beat Port Firo over five furlongs. Yeulba was schooled over hurdles. Wadrarapa covered a round at threequarter pace. Mauiapoto and Daisy Paul ran a mile, the former moving attractively. Ho is looking well, having come on a lot the last' week or so. Idolatrous, Mulga Bill and Pretty Jano ran four furlongs, the former having -tire host of matters. King’s Birthday had a bit the host of General Kuroki in a gallop _ over a mile which'occupied Imiu 53seo. Nordotf and Tariua ran half a mile, finishing together. MaUarauui was of no use. to Explode in a go over Hie same distance in 53. St. Bill and Guiding Stop 'galloped three furlongs, tho latter luvYiwS the host: of tho'go in SJfscc.
