Professor Harper, of Sydney, speaking at tho Presbyterian Federal Assembly said there was a grave crisis imminent in the history of Presbyterianism in South Australia." The Presbyterians in the State only formed live per cent, of tho population, of whom a portion were not connected with the churches. A great numbor of churches were in a precarious condition and were more in need of strenuous help and monetary assistance than those in any of the other Stales. The large and richer churches of the other States should do something to restore the church to a satisfactory position.
