Tress Association. WitANOAKKi, September IS. An elderly Portuguese named Richard Pedro has boon charged with the manslaughter of William Bantall, who was killed by rnuuiug tucks in the Kirikaka coal mine ou July ’Jaii. It is alleged that; Pedro, who was acting as banksman, failed to attach a rope to the trucks before lowering into the mine. Ho was committed for trial at the Supreme Court. Bail was allowed.
