At a smoke concert of the Metropolitan Football Association one speaker declared that the matter of expenses in senior chibs bad become a scandal. The remedy was to put it out of the power of players to demand heavy sums for so-called expense's. Another speaker said players had ■become managers of the frame and veiled professionalism was rampant.
