Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd,, report on Johnsonvillo sale as follows : A full entry of beef, including some prime heavy weights, light cows and medium steers. The market was firm ail round. Beef made 24s Gd, heavy bullocks £7 lo£ to £ll os, £9 17s Gd to £lO 10s, lighter £S 10s to £9 15s, plain £6 10s to £7 17s 6d ; cows £G 7s Gd to £6 I2s Gd and £5 10s.

A fair yarding of sheep, including some extra wethers, which made 30s to 32s 3d, others 2Gs lid to 275, lighter 24s 2d to 21s 9d and 21s 3d, ewes, plain, 18s 5d to ISs Od. Stock Report.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report as follows : —At Himatangi on Monday wa yarded 400 sheep (hoggets) ami 400 head mixed cattle. A number of buyers were present and all the sheep sold under the hammer at satisfactory prices. The cattle sold well, with the exception of dairy heifers for which there was no enquiry. With the exception of four pons all the cattle were quitted. Quotations. —Sheep: Cull hoggets 8s 6d to 10s 6d, good mixed hoggets 15s 4d to 16s 2d. Cattle : Weaners 10s 6d to 13s, yearilng heifers 30s 6d, yearling steers (small) 36s Od, yearling steers (good) £3 15s, £2 16s, £3 16s 6d, 3-year heifers £3, Store cows 34s to 355, forward cows £8 6s, fat cows £6 os, 2% and 3 year steers £4 5s 6d to £4 135~6d, 4-year bullocks £6 4s.
