Kelson, September 18,

The new r residence of Charles Davis, at Bolgrove, with all the furniture it contained, was destroyed hy fire yesterday. The house contained ten rooms, and was a mile or so from the railway station. It was recently purchased by Mr Davis from Mrs Thomas. In the morning the family left home, Inn Davis went to the house about midday for lunch, and about 1 o’clock the lire broke out. Nothing was saved. The insurance is not yet ascertained.
