(Per Press Association. —Copyright.) Brisbane, September 17._ The Treasurer delivered the Financial Statement to night. He congratulated the State on its continued prosperity. The revenue last year was £4,307,912, exceeding the estimate by £460,712. Expenditure . Was £3,911,797, exceeding the estimate by £73,900. The estimated revenue for the current year was £4,417,404. Railway rates and fares will be reduced this year to the extent of £100,000; the exemption for income fax raised to £2OO, while the tax on income from property will be reduced from Is to 9d.

The estimated expenditure for the current year is £4.440/300.
