In the Assembly Mr Bent promised to make enquiries regarding the amalagmatiou of the Citizens and the Mutual Life Associations, with a view to protect the interests of local policy holders. ‘ Mr jßout proposes to reduce the income tax 20 por cent, with the exception of tiio income of companies. The reduction moans a loss of £48,000 to the revenue.
