The New Zealand Golf Club’s Championship Meeting was continued to-day, ■when there was a fairly heavy and very cold wind blowing, which greatly interfered with play; _ , An error was made yesterday in crediting MacLaren, tho professional player; with winning the Open Championship; Arthur Duncan won the Hawke’s Bay Amateur Championship and the Open Championship of Now Zealand. MacLaren, as tho best scorer among the professionals, takes the leading prize of .£23 allotted to them, D. Hood taking second money# .£lO. To-day the fourth and fifth founds of the N.Z. Amateur Championship were played; H; D. Bamfoi'd, A. Duncan, Major Gordon, AY. Handyside, AY. E. Koid, H. C. Smith, K. Duncan and H. B. Lusk bein'* tho winners in tho fourth round; ami'll. D. Bamford, 11. B. Lusk, A. Duncan'and H. C. Smith in tho fifth round.

The semi-final will bo played to-morrow aad tho final on Monday. A bogey handicap was played this afternoon, and was won by Arthur Duncan, H. C. Smith jbeing second, G ; M. Morns third. Tno NZ. Amateur Championship is looked upon as a foregone conclusion for Arthur Duncan, and H. B. Lusk is regarded as the most likely to act us runner-up.
