MONTGOMERY ENTERTAINERS.
The wet weather was against a large attendance at Martou last evening, but those who were present wore delighted with the excellent pictorial display of the comprehensive range of subjects. A number of vaudeville items wore pleasutly interspersed in the programme. Of the pictures, those depicting the first football match between Now South Wales and Now Zealand and the graphic pourtrayal of the WebbTowus sculling match, got a great reception. Of the latter, a fine view of the contest is given. The scene all along the water-way is excellently presented. The film clearly shows the relative positions at most stages of tho course. The items given by Messrs Morton and Harrison, who are aptly styled as the “Modern Musical Marvels,” won hearty applause. The playing of two comets at tho one time was one of Mr Morton’s best items. The company appear at Taihape to-night.
