Wbllxuuton, September 10. The following transfers and promotions have recently been made in the Bank of New Zealand ;—A. J, Nixon, of New Plymouth, has been appointed accountant at Huntcrvilio ; A. H. Wilson, of Paeroa, has been appointed accountant and asaayer at Thames; E. T. Bash, accountant at 'Thames, has been made manager at Paeroa; L. 11, Grhustone, manager at Paoroa, becomes manager at Waitara in. succession to E. J. Matthews, who takes lengthened leave of absence preparatory to retiring on a pension. Mr Matthews has boon in the service of the Bank for over 38 years. H. W. Were, accountant at Mow Plymouth, takes management of the Man.gawekp, branch.
