Tl;d OJovpfiori branch oi the Farmers’ Union has sent ins fallowing resolution to tho Executive “ That if any attempt bo made to form a farm labourers union in this province immediate slops bo taken by the farmers to combine for t}io iivotecticm of their own interests.” The mover said ho desiren it to bo understood that there was no wish to discourage farm labourers from forming a union. At the same lime it was, ho considered, to bo regretted that they wore called upon to move in the matter, as it was the wish of nearly all farmers to help their employees eYClJtuafi.V to become their own masters.
