ESCAPE OF PRISONERS.

Per Press Association. Kotobita, September 0. r Two prisoners escaped from Eotorua last night and were last seen about six ? o’clock. When locking up hour (seven o’clock) came round the prisoners were missing. Their names are Harry Taylor, alias Alfred Whito, and Frank Edwards. The former has served two months of a three years’ sentence for indecency. Edwards has served six months of a three years’ sentence for theft and false pretences. '(’heir ages are respectively twenty and nineteen years. The prisoners are supposed to bo making for Auckland. Sergeant Watt and two police are out in search, also the warders from Waiotapn prison.
