Christchurch, September 9.

Recently a number of burglaries have been coinnfittod in various warehouses and shops in different parts of city, the theft invariably being perpetrated on Sunday nights'." Among the premises broken into wore those of Messrs Hams and Co., Sketton, Prostick and On., Gordon and Goteh, and Harrison, builder. The goods stolen included largo quantities of cigars, cigarettes, and tobacco. As the result of investigations Detective Gibson to-day arrested four boys whose ages range up to sixteen years for having been implicated in the robberies.
