AN AMERICAN SENSATION

A sensation has been created throughout tho United States by the New York World publishing the names, "amounts aud tho heads of the trusts which contributed to President Roosevelt’s election campaign in 1904, totalling £53,000. The New'York World -states that Harriman gave £IO,OOO, Standard Oil £6OOO, aud Vanderbilt aud Hyde £SOOO each to secure President Roosevelt’s return at last election.
