Tho Times, commenting on the recent outbreaks against Indians andappealing for fair play for thorn, says that while the self-governing colonics are justified, in taking adequate measures to preserve their splendid heritage to tho white races there is a point beyond which precaution becomes prejudiced and the adequate passes into the tinreasonable.
